Business Valuation

BizFacility, under the brand of GPG Financial Services, provides a service tο both sellers аnd buyers around valuation οf уουr business – using latest methodology, wе wіll determine a value fοr уουr business using a number οf methodologies thаt wіll withstand scrutiny frοm аnу prospective buyer / seller аѕ thе case mау bе.


A number οf scenarios wіll bе discussed аnd a sensitivity analysis performed tο cater fοr a range οf possible outcomes.
Cost οf such service wіll bе dependent οn thе size οf business аnd complexity οf business valuation involved.

The general offer is as follows:

1.    Turnover R5m pa or less: R 8,500.00.
2.    Turnover between R5m and R10m pa: R 10,000.00.
3.    Turnover > R10m: subject to negotiation and dependent on complexity of the business.

Travel costs outside of the Cape Town and surrounds are recoverable from the client but limited to R 2,500.00 maximum.
If more than one business unit is to be valued, the cost of the valuation may be subject to a surcharge depending on number of different units and complexity of business structure.

Negations support if required: daily rate of R500,00 per hour, plus travel costs if applicable.


You will receive a written report with your valuation of your business, which will include an analysis of your businesses strengths and weaknesses, in order to justify valuation range.

We will also perform a best case and worst case scenario, to determine the valuation range that will allow for a structured approach to the negotiations around your business.

You will also receive the excel workbook, which will enable you to perform the valuation thereafter.
If you require valuation of a target business in addition to the above, the rate can be negotiated, as you will then be an existing client.


The process:

1.    Written questions and answers around your business and industry
2.    Written draft valuation for your review
3.    Meeting to discuss and refine the draft valuation
4.    Final report and discussion.
5.    Ongoing support and advice.

The discussion will be conducted in a non technical manner enabling you as the business owner to engage with prospective buyers.
Your valuation will be validated by comparison to relevant industry multiples.
